Terra Mítica and other companies fiddled 4.4 million Euro tax: "A new independent report compiled by an inspector from the Agencia Tributaria, on the request of the Instruction Judge 3 in Valencia, has concluded that Terra Mítica and other companies defrauded hacienda of 4.4 million € in the years 2000 and 2001.
The overall conclusion is in line with previous estimates from Hacienda which saw as many as 20 companies denounced.
The new investigation found 4.4 million € worth of fake factures, and now the judge has called 11 of the 24 businessmen implicated to court on Thursday and Friday this week. They face charges of fraud, misuse of public funds, money laundering, and fiscal crimes, among others"
